Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse Reopens for Lunch

with an Affordable Menu featuring Guest Favorites

NEW ORLEANS, LA – September 29, 2008 –Dickie Brennan’s Steakhouse will re-open for lunch Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays starting on October 8th. The menu will feature many guest favorites, including the Tomato-Bleu Cheese Napoleon, and the Prime Bacon Cheeseburger. Main courses start at $9.50 and a soup (housemade Gumbo, Turtle Soup or Soup du Jour) or salad can be added to any entrée for $3.00. Other lunch favorites include the Grilled Beef and Shrimp Kabob, and the Oyster McIlhenny Salad. Two new additions grace the menu—Prime Rib Chili, housemade with slow roasted prime rib for $8 or a Whole Stuffed Maine Lobster for $21.00. Signature dishes from the dinner menu will be available as well.

Gerry, a fixture at the Steakhouse since we opened nearly 10 years ago, will be serving her guests in the bar” commented Dickie Brennan. The more casual bar offers the full menu, and four high definition televisions. Those in the mood for a libation at lunch, are treated to a $5 Grey Goose martini that comes with ‚Äòdividends’ kept chilled in a glass beaker. Not in the mood for a martini? Try a Bloody Bull – a version of the Bloody Mary, enhanced with housemade beef bouillon—also only $5 at lunch. These drink specials are available in the main dining room as well.

Since opening the restaurant has been a hit both locally and nationally. Dickie Brennan’s Steakhouse has been the recipient of multiple awards, including Maxim Magazine’s – America’s Best Steakhouses, Best of Citysearch, Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, Tom Horan’s—America’s Top 10 Steakhouses, Playboy Magazine’s Top 12 Steakhouses in America, and “Extraordinary” in Zagat’s 2007 Best of New Orleans edition.

Executive Chef Jack Martinez leads the culinary team at the French Quarter restaurant. Jorge Henriquez is the General Manager. Straightforward Prime Steaks with a New Orleans Touch, fresh seafood and innovative Creole dishes define the cuisine. It also features a clubby bar and 6 private dining rooms.
